Echo Films is an independent film production studio based in Berlin, developed as part of an identity exploration focused on socially driven storytelling and contemporary documentary culture. The project began with research into the independent film sector, evolving audience behaviours, and brand presence within the production landscape. These insights informed a strategic positioning for Echo as a purpose-led studio grounded in human narratives and visual clarity.

Inspired by the idea of cinematic clarity, the identity system balances restraint with emotional resonance. A bold typographic logomark is framed within a widescreen proportion — subtly referencing the visual language of cinema while grounding the brand in its medium. The distinctive ‘H’, shaped to echo the form of a film strip, introduces a refined yet conceptual signature. Paired with a monochrome palette and editorial type system, the identity translates confidently across screen, print, and digital platforms — reinforcing Echo’s positioning as a focused, story-first studio.
